1. About Message Setu
Message Setu is a software tool that helps businesses send bulk WhatsApp messages using WhatsApp Cloud API. The app allows users to connect their WhatsApp Cloud API details, upload contacts, use approved message templates, create campaigns, send messages, and track delivery status.
Message Setu is an independent tool and is not owned, operated, endorsed, or officially connected with WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc.
2. Eligibility
To use Message Setu, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Use the app only for lawful business purposes
- Have the authority to represent your business or organisation
- Comply with all applicable laws, Meta policies, WhatsApp Business policies, and data protection rules
3. User Account
You may need to create an account to use Message Setu. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details, API keys, access tokens, and account information.
You agree not to share your account access with unauthorised users. Any activity done through your account will be your responsibility.
4. WhatsApp Cloud API Usage
Message Setu works with WhatsApp Cloud API. To use the app, you may need to provide details such as:
- WhatsApp Business Account ID
- Phone Number ID
- App ID
- Access token or API key
- Approved templates
- Other API-related information
You are responsible for ensuring that these details are correct and valid.
Message Setu only provides the software interface to help you use WhatsApp Cloud API. We do not control Meta’s systems, WhatsApp message approval, message delivery, account restrictions, template rejection, pricing, or API availability.
5. User Responsibility for Contacts and Consent
You are fully responsible for the contacts you upload and the messages you send through Message Setu.
By using Message Setu, you confirm that:
- You have permission or consent to contact the recipients
- Your messages are not spam
- Your messages comply with applicable laws and WhatsApp/Meta policies
- You will not send misleading, illegal, abusive, harmful, fraudulent, or unauthorised messages
- You will honour opt-out or unsubscribe requests from customers
Message Setu is not responsible for any claims, complaints, penalties, account restrictions, or legal issues caused by your message content or contact list.
6. Approved Templates
WhatsApp may require businesses to use approved message templates. You are responsible for creating, submitting, and using templates that follow WhatsApp and Meta rules.
Message Setu may help you use approved templates, but we do not guarantee template approval, message delivery, or acceptance by WhatsApp or Meta.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Message Setu for:
- Sending spam or unsolicited messages
- Promoting illegal products or services
- Fraud, phishing, scams, or misleading communication
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or abusive content
- Adult, gambling, illegal financial, or restricted content where prohibited
- Uploading false, stolen, or unauthorised contact data
- Attempting to hack, damage, reverse engineer, or misuse the app
- Violating WhatsApp, Meta, or applicable legal policies
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Pricing and Payments
Message Setu may offer free and paid plans.
Current pricing may include:
- Free Plan: Up to 100 contacts
- Starter Plan: Up to 1,000 contacts
- Growth Plan: Up to 5,000 contacts
Pricing may change from time to time. Any updated pricing will be shown on our website or app.
Message Setu pricing is for app usage, contact management, campaign creation, and dashboard access. WhatsApp Cloud API message charges, conversation charges, or any Meta-related charges may be separate and are the responsibility of the user.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
Payments made for Message Setu plans may be non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise.
Refunds, if applicable, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. No refund will be provided for misuse, violation of policies, incorrect API setup, rejected templates, Meta account restrictions, or issues outside the control of Message Setu.
10. Service Availability
We try to keep Message Setu available and working smoothly. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Service may be affected by:
- Internet issues
- Server downtime
- Maintenance
- Meta or WhatsApp API changes
- API failure
- Incorrect user credentials
- Third-party service issues
We are not responsible for delays, failed messages, delivery issues, or business losses caused by such factors.
11. Message Delivery and Status
Message Setu may show message status such as sent, delivered, read, failed, or pending based on available API data.
However, message delivery depends on WhatsApp Cloud API, recipient phone number status, template validity, user consent, Meta policies, and other external factors.
We do not guarantee that every message will be delivered, read, or successfully processed.
12. Data and Privacy
Your use of Message Setu is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
We may process account data, API details, contact lists, campaign data, message status, and error information to provide the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have proper permission to upload and use customer data.
13. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect user data and app systems. However, you are responsible for keeping your login details, access tokens, API keys, and account credentials secure.
You should immediately inform us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
14. Intellectual Property
All rights related to Message Setu, including the app name, logo, design, content, software, features, branding, and website material, belong to Message Setu or its owner.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, distribute, or misuse any part of the app or brand without written permission.
15. Limitation of Liability
Message Setu will not be liable for:
- Failed or delayed messages
- Loss of business, revenue, leads, or customers
- WhatsApp or Meta account restrictions
- Template rejection
- Incorrect API setup
- User misuse of contact data
- Legal claims due to user messages
- Third-party service failure
- Data loss caused by user error or external systems
You use Message Setu at your own risk.
16. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You misuse the app
- You send spam or illegal messages
- You violate WhatsApp or Meta policies
- You provide false or misleading information
- Your usage creates risk for Message Setu, other users, or third parties
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date.
Continued use of Message Setu after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
